Just as we’re beginning to get our heads around a swine flu epidemic, along comes another scourge: dog flu -- a contagious respiratory disease in dogs. There have been sizeable outbreaks across the United States in recent months, and the USDA just announced the first ever dog flu vaccine.
Sound Medicine’s Dr. Kathy Miller spoke with Edward Dubovi of Cornell University, where he helped discover the virus that causes that flu.
