Thatís according to a new study by the Environmental Working Group. They tested 10 brands of bottled water and found more than 30 contaminants, including bacteria, caffeine, fertilizer, chemicals used to make plastic and even strontium -- a radioactive element.

To be clear, the study didnít find bottled water to be dangerous. It just appears to be no more pure than plain old tap water.

For people alarmed by the presence of chemicals in either bottled or tap water, the study recommends using a carbon filter to leach out the contaminants.
